In this study from Indiana’s School of Medicine, researchers looked to see if studying in ways that are consistent with students’ dominant learning style was more beneficial than using other methods to learn. The results demonstrate that there is zero correlation between preferred learning style and student performance. Interestingly, most students in the study failed to study in a way that was consistent with their preferred learning style.

It’s fascinating to see how LinkedIn continues to develop its learning offer. With Lynda.com now firmly embedded in its platform, LinkedIn Learning is now opening up to other content sources and enabling customers to upload their own content too. Being able to link employees’ skills profiles with relevant development resources makes the platform all the more powerful. This is definitely one to watch.
